when I am with you,

I grip on to high spirits,

only for a while.

 

to gaze at you, if

only ever for some time,

makes me feel content.

 

but suddenly, like

the wind you are gone and I

am left floating.

 

just happy, enough,

to maybe crack a smile but

never to forget.
